Skiing, skateboarding, and surfing all in one week? Anything is possible in Karlín!
Hi Karlin people,
The beginning of the week will especially thrill the Karlín sports enthusiasts who can’t wait to hit the slopes. Just for you, there will be a Tuesday screening of the film “Abstract” at the Kasárna. And the sporting spirit continues on Wednesday at Štvanice – come show off your skateboarding skills or watch a documentary about surfing in Pinang.
And, of course, there’s much more in store for us this week!

Event tips
Abstract – Faction & Snowpanic Prague Premier
Faction Skis are here with their latest film “Abstract,” and thanks to Snowpanic Shop, you can look forward to its Prague premiere at Kasárna Karlín on November 7th! You will also see “Sensus” from the innovators The Bunch, and “What’s for Breakfast” from a Swedish street crew Suéde.
Screening starts at 19:30 and is followed with a raffle and beers.

Surfskate Jam vol. III
Come ride with us on surf skates in the Štvanice Bowl and show us what you’ve trained for over the summer!
We’ll start at 6:15, as always, with more of us this time, and we’ll have some music as well.
After the ride, in the PSK clubroom (right next to the skate park), there will be a screening of the movie Pinang, followed by a discussion with the author, and the rest of the enjoyable evening with people who share the same passion as you.

You can look forward to a variety of delicious goose specialties, and, of course, there will be young and St. Martin’s wines from the finest wineries. The band Lovesong Orchestra will get you in a dancing mood, performing for you starting at 1:00 PM.

CARPENTER BRUT, PERTURBATOR and HO99O9 at Fórum Karlín
PERTURBATOR, arguably the most famous and well-established synthwave name, which popularized the dark retro-futuristic sound inspired by 80s sci-fi/horror films, is teaming up with CARPENTER BRUT on the Leather Sacraments tour, currently one of the hottest synthwave and darksynth projects. Start is at 18:30 and tickets are still available!
