Bohemia Film Awards 2023

A cel­e­bra­tion of inde­pen­dent cin­e­ma from around the world at the Bohemia Film Awards will take place at Kasárny Kar­lín. Movies that can’t be found at main­stream cin­e­mas will be discovered.

Sched­ule:

17.30 Wel­come Drink & Toast The evening will begin with grace with a com­pli­men­ta­ry wel­come toast and an oppor­tu­ni­ty to meet fel­low film enthu­si­asts and filmmakers.

18.00 Inter­na­tion­al Film Screen­ings Nine care­ful­ly select­ed inter­na­tion­al films will be pre­sent­ed, none of which last longer than 20 min­utes. These films encom­pass var­i­ous gen­res, promis­ing a diverse and fas­ci­nat­ing screen­ing expe­ri­ence. After the screen­ings, win­ners from each cat­e­go­ry will be revealed.

20.30 Cel­e­bra­tion Cel­e­brate the spir­it of inde­pen­dent cin­e­ma and con­nect with film­mak­ers, actors, and film enthu­si­asts who share the pas­sion for film. This will be the oppor­tu­ni­ty to share thoughts and opin­ions dur­ing post-screen­ing dis­cus­sions, and forge new con­nec­tions and friend­ships. Prac­ti­cal infor­ma­tion: Films will be screened with Eng­lish sub­ti­tles only. Tick­ets are lim­it­ed, so it is rec­om­mend to reserve a spot in advance.
